The tunnel effect of the sun refers to the phenomenon where the sun appears to be setting or rising at the end of a long straight road or tunnel, creating the illusion that the road or tunnel is leading directly towards the sun. This effect occurs due to the perspective and the way light is refracted and reflected by the atmosphere, creating the appearance of a tunnel-like pathway towards the sun. It is a visually striking and often surreal sight that can be observed in certain atmospheric conditions, especially during sunrise or sunset. **

There are a few potential reasons why your Velux roof window may be shattering. One possibility is that the glass may have been damaged during installation or from impact. Another potential cause could be thermal stress, which occurs when there are extreme temperature differences between the inside and outside of the window. Additionally, manufacturing defects or flaws in the glass could also lead to shattering. It's important to have a professional assess the situation to determine the exact cause and find a solution. **

A Velux roof window is typically installed by first measuring and cutting an opening in the roof where the window will be placed. The window is then positioned in the opening and secured in place using the provided brackets and screws. Flashing is then installed around the window to ensure a watertight seal. Finally, the window is insulated and finished with trim to complete the installation. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions and local building codes when installing a Velux roof window. **

This can vary depending on the context and purpose of the tunnel, but in general, a tunnel is considered to be a significant and substantial passageway. **
